Exclusive f1(1285) meson production for energy ranges available at the GSI-FAIR with HADES and PANDA

We evaluate the cross section for $p p \to f_{1}(1285)$ and \bar{p} reactions at near threshold energies relevant HADES PANDA experiments GSI-FAIR. assume that close to $\omega \omega $\rho^{0} \rho^{0} fusion processes are dominant production mechanisms. The vertex $VV f_{1}$ coupling is derived from an effective Lagrangian. $g_{\rho \rho f_1}$ constant extracted decay rate of $f_{1}(1285) \gamma$ using vector-meson-dominance ansatz. $g_{\omega f_1} = g_{\rho f_1}$, equality these two constants, based on arguments naive quark model vector-meson dominance. amplitude fusion, supplemented by phenomenological form factors process, given. differential sections calculated. In order determine parameters $\gamma f_{1}(1285) p$ reaction discussed in addition results compared with CLAS data. possibility a measurement HADES@GSI presented discussed. performed Monte Carlo feasibility simulations f_1$ $\sqrt{s}$ 3.46 GeV $\pi^+ \pi^- \pi^+ \pi^-$ (not shown explicitly) \pi^0$ final states PLUTO generator. latter one especially promising as peak \eta$ should be observable HADES.
